On Sunday, Shivangi Sharma of Assam won the fourth gold medal in swimming at the Khelo India Youth Games, while Maharashtra has consolidated their position at the top position by performing all round. Shivangi won the fourth gold medal in the swimming pool. She won the yellow medal of the 100-meter freestyle in the women's under 21 category in 59.26 seconds. Maharashtra has won 193 medals including 60 gold. Maharashtra's Mihir Ambre, Rudranish Mishra, and Aaron Fernandes won the team by 0.24 seconds over Karnataka in the 4x100 meter relay. Tamil Nadu won 2 gold medals in the under-17 girl's category in weightlifting, taking 53 medals including 13 gold and 25 silver to finish sixth in the table. Assam is seventh with 40 medals, including 13 gold and 13 silver. The concluding ceremony of the third season of the Khelo India game is to be held in the presence of Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju and Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday.
