Telecom company Bharti Airtel has shut down 3G networks in 11 circles on Wednesday. The top officer of the company gave this information. Airtel's plan is to boost the existing spectrum by March this year and reform it on its 4G network. Airtel aims to provide high-speed internet to subscribers amidst stiff competition in the telecom sector. Explain that in August last year, the company had announced the closure of its 3G network in 22 telecom circles across the country by March 2020. By closing the 3G network, the company will increase its focus on providing better service to the users who spend more.

Bharti Airtel started the process of shutting down the 3G network in July last year. After Kolkata, the company stopped 3G services in Haryana and Punjab circles. However, the telecom company is providing 2G service to feature phone customers.

In terms of revenue, Airtel's plan for the second largest telecom operator in the country is gradually focusing on 2G and 4G networks. Vodafone Idea now operates on 2G, 3G and 4G.
